What is a coral?

Coral (phylum: Cnidaria) is a group of organisms that exist either as individuals or in colonies and they secrete Calcium Carbonate (CaCO₃) external skeletons.

*Coral reefs found in waters where the minimum average monthly T is 18 degrees C or higher.
